Simultaneous Detection and Quantification of Aflatoxin M1, Eight Microcystin Congeners and Nodularin in Dairy Milk by LC-MS/MS

چکیده
Dairy milk holds a prominent position as widely consumed food, particularly among infants and children. However, it is crucial to address the presence of multiple natural toxic compounds that may co-occur in dairy ensure its safety prior consumption. Aflatoxin M1 (AFM1), an emerging mycotoxin interest, potential contaminant animals who ingest aflatoxin B1 (AFB1). The toxin regulated European Union under Commission Regulation No 1881/2006. Unfortunately, there notable lack data concerning transfer various microbial contaminants into and, therefore, their occurrences. In this study, simple sensitive LC-MS/MS method was developed validated for quantification cyanotoxins (microcystin congeners nodularin) AFM1 by main analytical guidelines. Toxins are extracted with methanol 80%, followed SPE clean-up step before analysis. LOQ fixed at 1 µg/L nine 0.05 AFM1. Recoveries were measured between 82.67% 102%. To best our knowledge, no other methods available simultaneous mycotoxins milk.

Antibiotic residues and aflatoxin M1 contamination in milk powder used in Tehran dairy factories, Iran
BACKGROUND: The presence of aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) andantibiotic residues in milk and milk products is a public healthconcern. Milk and milk powder have the potential forintroducing AFM1 and antibiotic into human diet. In recentyears, milk powder has been used on a large scale in dairyfactories. Consequently, antibiotic residues and aflatoxincontamination control in these products has gained impor...

متن کاملAflatoxin M1 Contamination in Raw Cow Milk of Dairy Farms in Behbahan area, Khuzestan province, Iran
Introduction: Mycotoxins are among the environmental chemical agents with toxic effects on animals and humans. Aflatoxins (AF) are a major group of mycotoxins produced following the growth of some species of Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus, particularly in agricultural products. Aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) is secreted to milk and remains there since the process of pasteurization and ster...
متن کاملAflatoxin M1 in Milk - FSA4018
Aflatoxins are mycotoxins of major concern to the dairy industry. Most mycotoxins are found in grain, usually grown in a drought, although they may contaminate pasture grass and occasionally hay. Most frequently, aflatoxins are found in corn (see Figures 1-3) and cottonseed, and sometimes in their byproducts, but also on rare occasions in soybeans or distiller’s grain. Peanut products also may ...
